On Sunday the 19th of February 2012 Garth 'From the Hood' Wood will take on Sam 'King' Soliman in a World Title Eliminator labelled as "SUNDAY BLOODY SUNDAY" at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.

Garth Wood a former Souths Junior and Rabbitohs player, winner of The Contender Series and the only Australian to knock out Anthony 'The Man' Mundine is a star on the rise. Meanwhile Soliman is ultra-consistent and has only been beaten on Australian soil in the past 12 years by Anthony Mundine. The winner of this old fashioned battle will then throw out the challenge to current IBF Middleweight World Champion Daniel Geale in what would be a defining bout in Australian Boxing.
